Survivor Series is the second longest running PPV event for the WWE, after WrestleMania. The original concept for Survivor Series was to have an annual PPV event that focused on tag team wrestling, and to capitalise on the long running feud between Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant, who faced each other at WrestleMania III, leading up to the first ever Survivor Series event. It was originally designed to be a ‘Thanksgiving tradition’ and the first 4 events took place on Thanksgiving Day each November. This is the first ever Survivor Series Anthology – covering the first 10 years of Survivor Series, over 2 x 5 DVD sets.
